By accessing, creating an account with, purchasing a membership to, or using VerifiYou, you agree to these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the platform.
1. About VerifiYou
VerifiYou is an AI-assisted verification and research platform designed to help users investigate claims, questions, headlines, quotes, events, organizations, businesses, historical subjects, screenshots, and other information using evidence-based analysis.
VerifiYou may search for, analyze, compare, and summarize information from publicly available sources and other sources available to the platform.
VerifiYou is designed to provide evidence, context, sources, confidence information, conflicting evidence when identified, and limitations that users can evaluate for themselves.
VerifiYou does not determine what users should believe.
2. Artificial Intelligence
VerifiYou uses artificial intelligence and other automated technologies to assist with evidence discovery, comparison, analysis, organization, and report generation.
AI-generated analysis may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or incorrect interpretations. Information available to VerifiYou may also be incomplete or change after an investigation is completed.
Users are encouraged to review the supporting sources and evidence provided with a verification, particularly when information is important, disputed, rapidly changing, or being used to support a significant decision.

3. Verification Results and Limitations
VerifiYou strives to provide reliable, transparent, evidence-based analysis. However, no verification system—human or AI—can guarantee complete accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.
Sources may disagree. Sources may also be corrected, updated, removed, restricted, or become unavailable after a VerifiYou report is generated.
New evidence may emerge after an investigation is completed.
A VerifiYou report represents an evidence-based analysis using information available to the platform at the time the investigation was performed. Users should consider the report’s cited sources, confidence information, conflicting evidence, context, and stated limitations when evaluating its findings.
4. Professional and High-Stakes Decisions
VerifiYou is an informational and research tool.
VerifiYou does not replace professional legal, medical, financial, scientific, engineering, safety, or other specialized advice.
Users should consult appropriately qualified professionals before making decisions involving health, law, finance, safety, or other high-stakes matters.
3. No Guarantee of Accuracy
5. Accounts and Memberships
VerifiYou may provide different levels of access, including Free, Pro, Professional, or other membership levels introduced in the future.
Membership levels may provide different usage limits, storage allowances, workspace capabilities, research tools, collaboration features, exports, or other platform functions.
Membership does not change VerifiYou’s evidence-evaluation methodology or purchase a more favorable verification result.
Membership provides greater capability—not better truth.
Users are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and protecting their account credentials.
Accounts may not be used to impersonate another person or organization or to obtain unauthorized access to VerifiYou services.
6. Paid Memberships and Billing
Paid VerifiYou memberships may be billed on a recurring subscription basis through VerifiYou’s authorized payment provider.
The applicable subscription price and billing frequency will be displayed before purchase.
By purchasing a recurring membership, you authorize the applicable recurring charges until the subscription is cancelled.
Users may cancel recurring memberships through the cancellation or billing tools provided by VerifiYou or its authorized payment provider.
Cancellation prevents future renewal charges. Unless otherwise stated during the cancellation process, paid membership access remains available through the end of the period already paid for.
After the paid-through date, access to paid membership features may end or revert to the capabilities available under another applicable membership level.

7. Refunds
Payments for membership periods that have already begun are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law or where VerifiYou expressly states otherwise.
Cancelling a recurring subscription prevents future renewal charges but does not ordinarily generate a refund for the current paid membership period.
Any exception or refund issued by VerifiYou does not create an obligation to provide the same exception in other circumstances.
8. Submitted Content
Users may submit claims, questions, screenshots, images, text, research requests, and other information for investigation or use within VerifiYou.
Users retain ownership of content they submit to the extent they have ownership rights in that content.
By submitting content, users grant VerifiYou permission to process, analyze, store, reproduce as technically necessary, and transmit that content to service providers when reasonably necessary to operate the requested VerifiYou services.
Users should not submit content they do not have the right to use or information whose submission would violate applicable law or the rights of another person.
Users should avoid submitting passwords, financial account numbers, confidential information, or unnecessary sensitive personal information.
5. Intellectual Property
9. Reports and Report Storage
VerifiYou may store investigation requests, generated reports, sources, Report IDs, account associations, and related information to provide report history, research libraries, account services, sharing, and other platform functions.
Stored information may remain associated with an account while the account or applicable services remain active.
Following cancellation or expiration of a paid membership, stored reports and related account information may be retained for a limited period consistent with VerifiYou’s current retention practices, operational requirements, legal obligations, and Privacy Policy.
Where VerifiYou provides a stated retention period for a particular service or membership, that stated period will control for that service.
10. Anonymous Investigations and Claim Codes
VerifiYou may allow users to perform certain investigations without creating an account.
Anonymous investigations may receive a public Report ID and a separate private Claim Code that can be used to establish ownership of or claim the report through an eligible VerifiYou account.
Users are responsible for protecting their Claim Codes.
Claim Codes should be treated as private information and should not be included when publicly sharing a report.
VerifiYou cannot guarantee recovery of a lost Claim Code.
6. Limitation of Liability
11. Public Reports and Sharing
VerifiYou may allow users to intentionally create or share a public link to a verification report.
A person receiving a public report link may be able to read that report without creating or logging into a VerifiYou account.
Public reports are designed to display verification findings and supporting evidence without intentionally exposing private account information, Claim Codes, or internal investigation identifiers.
Users are responsible for deciding whether a report is appropriate to share publicly.
Users should not publicly share a report containing information they are not authorized to disclose.
12. Acceptable Use
Users agree to use VerifiYou lawfully and responsibly.
Users may not use VerifiYou to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, servers, databases, or administrative functions.
- Interfere with or intentionally disrupt platform operations.
- Circumvent membership restrictions, usage limits, security controls, or access controls.
- Introduce malicious code or deliberately harmful content.
- Use automated systems to abuse, overload, scrape, or disrupt VerifiYou except where expressly authorized.
- Impersonate another person or organization in a deceptive or unlawful manner.
- Use VerifiYou in violation of applicable law or the legal rights of others.
VerifiYou may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform, service providers, or the integrity and security of VerifiYou.
7. Service Changes
13. Intellectual Property
VerifiYou’s branding, logos, original website content, interface designs, software, proprietary platform features, and other original materials are owned by VerifiYou or its applicable licensors unless otherwise stated.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of VerifiYou intellectual property to a user.
Users may use and share VerifiYou reports through features provided by the platform, subject to these Terms and the rights associated with third-party source material.
Third-party articles, images, publications, trademarks, and other materials referenced by VerifiYou remain the property of their respective owners.
14. Third-Party Sources and Services
VerifiYou relies on third-party technologies and services, which may include AI providers, hosting providers, payment processors, email services, publicly available websites, data sources, and other infrastructure.
VerifiYou does not control every third-party source or service and cannot guarantee its continued availability, accuracy, security, or performance.
Links to third-party sources are provided for transparency and reference. Their inclusion does not necessarily constitute endorsement of the source, organization, product, or viewpoint.
Third-party services may operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
15. Service Availability
VerifiYou may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical problems, third-party service interruptions, security events, or circumstances outside VerifiYou’s reasonable control.
VerifiYou does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
Features may be added, modified, replaced, or discontinued as the platform develops.
Where a change materially affects an active paid service, VerifiYou will endeavor to provide reasonable notice when appropriate and practicable.

16. Pricing and Membership Changes
VerifiYou may change membership plans, features, usage limits, or pricing as the platform develops.
The price applicable to a purchase or subscription will be presented to the user before payment.
Changes affecting future subscription renewals will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the billing or notification procedures available through VerifiYou and its payment provider.
Continued use of a paid service after an applicable change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms for future service periods, subject to applicable law.
17. Limitation of Liability
VerifiYou provides information and research assistance, not guarantees of factual certainty or outcomes.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VerifiYou and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential losses arising from reliance on verification results, third-party information, service interruptions, or use of the platform.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Users remain responsible for evaluating information and exercising independent judgment when acting upon VerifiYou reports or research.
18. Privacy
Use of VerifiYou is also subject to the VerifiYou Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, processed, stored, shared with service providers, retained, and protected.
Users should review the Privacy Policy before submitting personal, confidential, or sensitive information.
19. Changes to These Terms
VerifiYou may update these Terms of Use as the platform, services, technologies, or legal requirements change.
Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective or revision date and, where appropriate, additional notice may be provided.
Continued use of VerifiYou after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
